The GCHERA Board/General Assembly , originally scheduled on September 22, was held on 21 September in NAU, China. The Committee Board members John KENNELLY, Ian MAW, ZHOU Guanghong, Simon HEATH, Philippe CHOQUET, Daniel SHERRARD，Lara Hanna WAKIM, Committee member LIU Zhimin and etc. participated the meeting.

The meeting claimed the approval of the changes to the GCHERA Statutes, the election of new members, revision of the GCHERA Status and so on. Ian Maw was re-elected as the Senior Vice President, and ZHOU (Joseph) Guanghong, the president of Nanjing Agricultural University, was elected as the Vice President with responsibility for the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize recognizing his leadership in establishing and continuing the GCHERA World Agriculture Prize.

Besides, the meeting approved the Minutes of the General Assembly held on 22 October 2013. They listened to the reports from the Higher Education Associations, the annual financial report, and reports on GCHERA conference plan 2015. The meeting also discussed the date and location of the next meeting of the GCHERA Board and General Assembly 2015.
